Seed ID, if possible

Hi, I have a friend who has these seeds but she can't remember what they are, I don't have a clue. I wonder if any of you talented people would have any idea.

    Can you take a photo with penny and a pound coin so we can see the scale?

  • And if you know anything at all about where they came from (eg Britain or abroad, indoor or outdoor plant) that would be useful.  image

    Sorry it's taken so long, had someone at the door.

    Jo they are 7-8mm

    Obelixx I have taken a photo but I have had to do it with a penny and a 5p, I'm in Southern Ireland so only have Euro, this was the little bit of English money I have left.

    Liriodendron, They are outdoor seeds, I'm in Ireland but I was think they have them in the UK.

    The flattened look of some of them suggests iris of some sort

    Jo, I've never seen seeds that big before, some are flat and some have a curve to them. Well I hope she gets them going ok, sounds like they will be nice plants. Thanks Jo.xx
