Friend or Foe?

Hi,

I discovered this grey/white beetle today crawling on the top of the soil which has Strawberries and Pine-berries planted in the terracotta pot .  

Is this a good beetle/weevil or bad?

    Weevil. The fear is vine weevil but I don't know them well enough to tell

    That is an adult Vine weevil for sure.

    I once, as an experiment, dropped a vine weevil adult in to a glass of pure Bleach. It swam around happily for 24 hours. You try it! See how long you survive! imageimage  Don't do it!
