Can anyone ID this? It has shot up from the centre of a rose bush. Single stem about 5ft tall now, no scent, with tassles or seed pods.

Some sort of willow Stephanie. Not the pussy kind. I'd get it out before it gets any bigger. Easier said than done I know. I have a sycamore coming through a viburnum and an ash through a Rosa rubrifolia.
