Covering a concrete wall

I have a problem with neighbours and need to cover a concrete wall which they can see through goes onto the patio area.
Need a covering nothing will attach have tried a trellis
need some advice about a plant or plants 6ft high by 8feet wide was told a hedge but am lost need some help
