Alliums & Other Plants In a Large Planter

A few months go i made a bottomless planter that is 8ft long and 1ft and a half high and wide for my back garden along a fence. I've brought the 100 Alliums from the offer part of this site and i want to plant a mixture of the Alliums in the planter but i would like to add some other kinds of plants to mix in. What other plants or bulbs would go great with Alliums.

What kind of alliums did you buy? Are they the tall ones or the low growing ones?
