White Stuff On Plant Leaves

I've got some white kind of stuff on some plant leaves. I rubs off with my fingers but what is it, its mostly on some Ajuga reptans.

Probably because they are too dry. Ajuga likes a moist soil, it grows wild in my boggy wilderness!
