No photo I'm afraid but does anyone know which the very blue one is with smaller flower heads as opposed to the more typical lilac blue one? Haven't been able to find a photo online to show what I mean either but hopefully one of you grows it!
Maybe, it's not so widely available though is it? Not heard if it before. Some of the pics look right, some don't. I'm guessing that sort of blue us just hard to photograph accurately. I will endeavour to find out from the place I saw it, not sure they will know! Thanks for the suggestions il update when I find out (even if that involves a trial next year )
I have E. Ritro and E. Ruthenticus (I mistakenly referred to this is E. Rusticus in posts, and sent some of you seeds with the wrong name). E. Ruthenticus is more purple than Ritro, slightly irredescent, with flowers about half the size of Ritro. Foliage is much more compact, great if you don't have much space, as my Ritro is a bit of monster. Ruthenticus flowers are more dense, less spikey, as you can see from the photos. Ruthenticus on top, Ritro below. Have seeds of both, which need winter cold to germinate.
