    ..looks like Erythronium 'Dens-Canis'... not a wild flower, it's a bulb...

    a very nice plant, I should keep that...

    I agree, a Dog's tooth violet.  It should form a clump over the next few years.

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
