Someone told me that it's possible to plant spring flowerin bulbs in aquatic pots and plant them in the Autumn then lift them out after flowering, leave them in a quiet corner to die down then repeat the process again.
Is this right or was someone pulling my leg?

...yes it's right, and it's what I do with some of my bulbs... dwarf tulips especially...
