Hi, we are in north west of England and for 2nd year running our Bramley has produced no sign of any apples? This year we have noticed ends of branches having basically what look like bobbles of mould and some leaves shrivelling up? This year has also seen a fair bit of aggressive leaf and vertical branch growth? We have a smaller desert apple tree in the garden producing apples fine although our plum tree doesn’t seem to be doing well this year? Any advice?

Yes, should we have not done this, last year just grew lots of very thin vertical br@nches, should I leave the tree and do nothing this year?

What about the white wooly growth on leaves and branches?
