MOSS ON DRIVEWAY
in Talkback
Moss on my drive way does not respond to moss killer and is expensive and takes too long to apply. Any ideas on how to eliminate moss?
Thanks,
Rob.

Depends what your drive is made of. Tarmac or paving can be kept clear by regular brushing, using a wire brush if necessary. Gravel is harder - I rake out the moss with a small hand rake. It's only a problem in shady areas, fortunately, as it's hard work!
use cheap table salt and sprinkle it over the moss .you can dampen it down slightly if needed but I would apply it in the evening and because of the time of year, in the morning the dew would have settled on the ground causing the salt to dissolve and get obsorbed by the moss. Then it will die off after a few days and can be swept up. Worked for me
