Male forms of gaultheria?

I've just bought a beautiful gaultheria/pernettya mucronata that is covered in bright pink berries, but I'll need a male form if I want berries next year. Can anyone suggest a male form to plant with it so I'll get berries? Not having much luck googling!

Thanks

  • I've tried that in the past, planted a male along with the females. Still didn't get any berriesimage

  • Ashwood's stock it.

Hi there, same problem as the OP. Was offered a lovely Gaultheria mucronata ‘Parelmoer’ and have just planted it in my "ericacea border". It's covered in lovely pink "pearls", so I guess it's a female specimen. Has anyone been successful in getting those pink fruit on a single female specimen, without any male near-by?
