Aloe Vera

My Aloe Vera plant has loved being out in the garden over the summer and has new plants sprouting from the base. Any ideas on how I can safely remove them and pot them up as new plants?

    Sever with a sharp knife close to the main plant. Let it dry for an hour or two. Pot into gritty compost. Water it in once then leave it , it should root in a few weeks.

    I killed my plantlets by over watering image  Since that I have managed to resist the water and got a few plants from the main one

    if there good healthy babies. once seperated from the mother plant. Spray the amputated area regularly through a day with cold water. This will cause a scab to develope more quickly. After a couple of days plant up into a cacti compost. If you choose a gritty compost make sure its not lime, they hate it. Once potted up keep the compost dry for a couple of weeks. Place a top dressing of grit on top. This should reduce the risk of them rotting off.
