Next year thinking of growing some gladioli for cutting but what happens to the corms afterwards? image

    Some people dig them up, but I've left mine in the ground for years. Some varieties have gradually died, others come up year after year. Need a well drained spot with a mulch for winter.

    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

  • I've left mine out in the ground and has so far comes into flower yearly.

     

  • I didn't know you were supposed to dig up the corms but have never had a problem. They've been seeding a lot too!
