  Some people dig them up, but I've left mine in the ground for years. Some varieties have gradually died, others come up year after year. Need a well drained spot with a mulch for winter.

  Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

  I've left mine out in the ground and has so far comes into flower yearly.

  I didn't know you were supposed to dig up the corms but have never had a problem. They've been seeding a lot too!
