azalea top leaves turning brown

It could be young leaves fried in the hard frosts of a few weeeks ago.

There's another thread asking the same question.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I have the same problem with my azalea the stems are all brown and the leaves have i possibly planted them in a too hot area.
