    I'd sow some seeds, it would be quicker. I never keep the tubers. it's like Salvia patens and Nicotiana sylvestris, quicker to save and sow the seed

    How do you sow them? Just cover them up?

    I start them in pots in a cold GH. I don't think it's too late. Outside would be OK now maybe. I start in pots because my garden is so full of weed seeds and my seeds get swamped

    Thanks. My garden is too small for such delights as a greenhouse of any kind. I'd love one but not enough space.

  • my tuber is very long would it be ok to cut some off as I need to plant in a pot but its too long

    Mine has just sprouted. No idea if it will manage to flower.
