Carrots and parsnips don't transplant well katvet. You really need to sow the seeds where they will grow - do that next year and you will get nice straight ones.

Its because your soil is too dense. Too much clay. I have overcome it by growing carrots in raised beds filled with a well draining compost. My carrots were exactly like yours last year. So I purchased 6 pallet collar and used them for raised beds, 2 per bed.
