rotten horse manure advice

pash2pash2 Posts: 95

Hi I have a large tub of well rotten horse manure and over the years it has collected liquid from the rain

I would like to know if it is ok to drain off some liquid and use it neat on my plants in tubs or does it need watering down first?

I have two heathers in pots that I ""got "" in Scotland and they are more important to me than the other plants

They have been in compost, soil plus some manure on top for a while and today I thought of watering them with the liquid gold

any advice please

Thank you

To use on other things, water it down until the liquid is the colour of weak tea otherwise it will be too strong.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
