Hoping for a bit of rain here, too, hollie hock (hopefully at night, of course!) Had to water all of my outdoor pots at the weekend - pretty unusual at this time of the year. My water authority (ST) are telling customers to be careful with their water use.. and that after the 6 months of deluge that passed for last "summer"!
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
It's ranged been between 6.5C and 10C over the past 4-5 days so not too bad where we are in the East Midlands. When that icy wind drops you can really feel the warmth of the Sun! You just know that as soon as the temperature goes up everything's going to take off with a vengeance. Can't wait!!!!
I've even brought out the table and chairs.... just in case!! Now there's optimism!

.......[joke...]
Bob can you make sure you put that request in for 'rain only at night' then-and can you ask that Scotland gets an 'off' switch for the rain too?
Shadow's got the furniture outside now and we don't want it raining on his parade!
Maybe we can all start putting off our heating -in the greenhouses as well as homes!
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Forecast night temps in double figures at the weekend, maybe, just maybe, things about to get going, touch wood.
This mornings update I think you can see Sunday is even better than Saturday
