Hi paddy5, if you have a little look around at suggestions, there are all sorts, citrus peel, lion dung and i read the other day, somebody suggesting teabags just under the soil sprayed with muscle spray(deep heat and the like i guess) my worry with that tho, is that i grow veg and am a little worried about the muscle rub/spray would leech into my crops and impair taste and flavour
Used coffee grounds tend to have minimal acidic content, the acid cleaned out in the brewing process. I saw some tests once that suggested used grounds registered as close to neutral.
