brand new large slanted grit container to grow herb in...

Hi.

Being a novice gardener I would like to ask if anyone has some advice on whether or not I could use a brand new large slanted grit container to grow herbs in? image

Many thanks in advance.....

I dont know what that is dizzi, but if you can put soil in it, you can grow something in it.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

  • Hi dizzi, Im with Lyn on that one. As long as there is now salt in it or been in it and I would give it a scrub first but if soil can go in it...plant in it. (Thats the rule in my garden lol, even down to old welly boots for carrots image)

Does it have any holes in the bottom for drainage? If not, you'll need to make some.
