Let's find out who gave me the Lurgy

VerdunVerdun Posts: 23,348
Look, I've had this lurgy for few days now. Didn't ask for it. Someone gave it to me but who? Dove had it but now...hey presto! she's better. Suspect number one? I'm not paranoid but someone needs to take responsibility........ It's had a big effect on my lack of gardening lately so it's serious

  • Two small children, one in school, so I'm normally either getting the lurgy, have the lurgy, or getting over the lurgy.  Can't be me though, gems can't travel over the interweb, and I'm too far away for them to drift over to you.  Damn 'ard Sheffield germs though!  Maybe they got on the train?

Wasn't me Verdun. Clean bill of health here. Poor show getting the lurgy just as the weather's improving though. Sympathy on its way down the wires

Not me either Verdun, wrap up and keep warm.
  • It was a child, most likely a grand child, believe me! The little angels take the bugs to school, pass them round like marbles, then come home again in a new, more virulent strain. Proper little disease vectors. The sticky fingers and snotty noses don't help, of course...

According to our office admin lady, we get most of our germs from door handles and light switches - never seen one of those with a runny nose and a cough image

I once asked a GP what he did to avoid getting ill, he said washing his hands was key.

How are you Verdun? Any improvement?

Could have been me. I had the lurgy between you and Dove. But then it would have had to cross the channel!

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
