Quit the tabs - almost 3yrs for me, after a 25yr old habit. If I can, anyone can !image

Gentle exercise every day (he says, whilst typing on the couch!), eg walking, gardening, (look after your hips +knees - especially if approaching middle age - no jogging around on hard or uneven surfaces!)

I often make a fruit salad breakfast with plain yogurt. Eat it any time of the day, yum! Generally vary the diet.

Even with incipient arthritis in those knees and/or hips a local gym may be able to help you loosen up / slim down with a programme using only low impact workout machines -eg arm cycles and cross-trainers.

And don't forget a good dose of socialising - company, conversation and a good laugh works wonders. Everything in balance and keep happy.

B13 ( that's Birdy13, not 'Be thirteen' - but it might work for you ... if you're only twelve!)

Everything in moderation is my motto. Eat less move more!

So I'll follow my own advice now and go for a walk image
