    Hi Chris image

Is your tree in a pot or in the ground?

If it's in a pot, have a look here and see if it's of any help http://www.gardenersworld.com/forum/problem-solving/standard-bay-tree/781815.html

  • Thanks will take a look
  • From what I can gather, the bay tree in our garden is about 45 years old.  About five years ago, it decided to turn anaemic looking and on its way out.

I thought perhaps pruning it might help and as there wasn't much to lose, I gave it quite a severe hair cut.  To my total astonishment, it helped.  It now appears to be in rudest health!
