Runner beans splitting

Hello,
Over the past couple of days I've picked a few small runner beans which are about 4 inch long which have split open by them selves? I've got about 20 plants in the patch, over all it's been a good crop but have had a lot of flowers fall off at the beginning of the season, does any one know why this is happening?

Yes tiny baby beans inside, but the weather has been very wet lately? Thanks for the info on flowers falling because not pollinated, just worried more may start to stop growing and spit also before they finish
