Daughter's garden is damp as over clay, so she's planning her own frittilary meadow of her own. I'll try starting off some of my seeds for her, assuming the LB doesnt get the lot, & if no joy she can plant bulbs this Autumn. J.

That lily beetle only turned up here a couple of years ago. It's demolished the martagon lilies.

Hi thank you for warm welcome, Sam can i ask you about Aloe flower stem, i too am unsure whether to cut it off, once flowering is over ?
You are very welcome. I cut mine off after it has died back a little. Shouldnt do any harm at all
Mind you, my aloe doesnt look like and aloe anymore as I keep using it for my skin
