Plant ID request.

Can anyone tell me what this is, please? It was given to me by my uncle but he couldn't remember what it was because at the time it was much smaller and hadn't flowered.

    I agree. Don't try to keep it in a pot though, it won't thrive.

    Yes, Japanese Anemone, they rather like a bit of shade

    Yes anemone. Nice plant but put it in the garden. Pops up everywhere next year.

    There is also a pink variant. They don't like to much sunshine. That makes the leavers brown, dry and finally dead. Otherwise it's quite strong and will give you flowerd every year

    I bought a couple of salmon coloured ones this years as well.

    Thanks for the ID and all the tips, guys. It's much appreciated. I have three of these in pots so now I know what and how big they grow, I can work out where I'm going to plant them.
