My Crinodendron patagua flowered for the first time this year ; was expecting something a little more 'exciting' for want of a better word . Not recommended !!
That's interesting , mine somehow survived the 'Beasts' of this year , totally unprotected; and I live in E.England . Compared to its cousin (hookerianum) I suppose I was expecting something as beautiful .
My C.patagua is growing amidst other shrubs and trees ; would probably look better against the backdrop of an old stone wall or something similar .
