hi, my cornus controversa varigated tree which I've had for 4 years has suddenly dropped all its leaves and looks very sad, what should I do?  its about 3ft tall and was quite established when I planted it at at cost of £70.00 so would be very upset to loose it.

    Sometimes they get root rot, but they are deciduous perhaps that's what it is, I can't find anything else maybe somebody else might knowimage

    Would it recover from root rot or is it dead?

    No I don't think so but leave it to the spring and see what happensimage
