This year I have grown "Vanessa" early potatoes; and the are the best yet.
Pink skinned, clean, no holes, just a small amount of scab; some large enough for roasting; lovely flavour; don't go mushy when boiled, good yield.
A 1st time french bean called Nomad - superb cropper; nice flavour; must save some seed.

I grew 'Charlotte' again this year, Maggie33 and instead of the usual small salad potatoes they just grew and grew. Many weighed about 1lb each! Same great taste even when we baked them. Never known a year like it
Likewise some of my Charlottes are big enough for Jacket Pots.
Kestrel also are huge.
