Eryngiums

Can anybody help me please regarding Eryngiums! I haven't grown this type of plant before, so any advice would be much appreciated. It is a variety called 'Blue Hobbit' and I believe it won't grow to high. It is still in its pot and I am waiting to plant into my garden. It still has some thistles on but they are turning…

I have picked up this thread, as I have 3 eryngium of the same variety and don't know the best thing to do with them. Some of the leaves are starting to turn yellow and I don't know whether to plant them now or keep in a cold frame over winter.Any advice greatfully received
