Caterpillar Identity

Can anybody help me identify this Caterpillar I found enjoying one of my Dahlia's this morning? Many thanks!

    I think it is certainly a moth larva. There are several that look similar to yours:- Clouded Drab, Bright-line Brown- eye, Angel shade, Green Silver-lines. Go on the web. There are loads of pictures for you to choose from.
