    Definely is a weevil!

Bit late for nematodes you could use provado, squash any you see, they can't fly so you have time to get them, treat all your tubs and houseplants.

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

  • What I have are definitely woodlice, they curl up into a ball when you disturb them and look a bit like miniscule anteaters. I have them in the conservatory and the garden. They eat the bark off my trees and shrubs and the skin off my fruits. They are in the front and back gardens. How do I eradicate them please?

  • You are getting away from the problem of VINE WEEVIL and belive me they are a problem, not in the garden but in POTS.

When you start to expect growth on spring plants e.g Primroses - you may well be very disapointed, take plant out of pot just to see if there are any ROOTS, also check for small c shaped grub with a cream body and tan head ,dont ask its name just put your foot on it.
  • Verdun.

I would say that most people dont know what a Vine Weevil looks like, may know what a weevil looks like but NOT a Vine Weevil, there is a difference when it comes to plant care.

What you say about the care of plants is what we should all be doing.
