Hedge plant for shade!

Hi all, youve probably had this question a million and one times but can you reccomend a hedging plant that will survive under decideous trees? Prefferably evergreen and it doesnt have to be flowering if thats any help. I was thinking Laurel? I want it to add some privacy from the road overlooking my garden image

Holly can cope with shade and woodland conditions.

We have holly thriving in shade - under oak and beech trees.  It makes a pretty dense hedge (but not one you would want to fall into too often!)

Thankyou very much ! Now, just where is the best place to buy them? Any suggestions/experiences?
