Opinions on 'worm tea'?

 

It's obvious that worms in the soil are fantastic but is it worth the time and effort collecting and making worm tea? 

 

A quick google search gives me a few answers but I'm not sure how reliable this information is....

    Worm tea comes from the bottom of a proper worm composter.  I'm pretty sure that a special kind of worm is used in those, not earthworms.  Edd is our expert on vermiculture although he may be on hiliday at the momemnt.  Have a look at this thread:

  • Oh okay, I'm talking about mixing worm castings/worm poop into water and using it as a fertiliser(I read it in a book), I'll take a look at that link image
