French Dwarf Beans

I've got a few french dwarf beans in a container and I've noticed that on the developing pods there are a lot of dark marks. Don't know if this is a parasite or not and if so whether I can do anything about it. Picture attached.

Has anyone had this problem?

It's not a problem - some varieties of french beans have purplish or reddish blotches on the pods - absolutely nothing to worry about image

They usually disappear when you cook the beans. Don't delay picking them or they will be stringy.

Thanks very much for your replies and reassurances. The picture on the packet didn't show the blemishes so that's why I was a little concerned.

They are not blemishes, they in the nature of the beast; quite natural. Some beans grow purple and cook green.
