The nursery I go to has many hydrangea varieties no dearer than £6 or £7 BM. In 2 litre pots so possibly slightly smaller than your purchase - but in a year they'll be twice the size. I find the prices in GCs quite horrific - or is that just me? image

10% off in September so I may have to have a visit - not been for ages. I've been very restrained image

Best recent bargain was my new lawn - a bit of grafting and  £7 for the seed image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Luckily garden on heavy clay soil verdun an impulse buy that for once will fit in perfectly, usually some of my impulsive purchases haven't been well thought out and I often have plants laid about in pots with no area to plant them oops.

I'm trying very hard to stop my habit however last Thursday in Logan botanical garden, lovely sunny day and the astrantia was a lovely souvenir much better than a cheesy mug or tea towel image
