Pansy - there isn't really a 'right or wrong' way to use the iPad but I think most right handers would use it with the home button on the right or on the bottom. My cover stands mine with the button on the right - so maybe it just all comes down to which cover you use.

Verdun - you are a lucky person to be ambidextrous. I'm like Pansy - my left hand is good for balance and nothing else. Wouldn't want to be without it though .... I'll go off and join the rest of the hoi polloi now shall I? image

Maybe I'm weird but I'm right-handed and always have the button on the leftimage.  My reasoning is that I need the other hand for a coffee or a pen to write down the great plant suggestions I get on hereimage

    I've got a samsung, I haven't got photo stream........well I don't think I have lol......not very technical minded image

If i turn my pad upside down, the screen swivels itself round anyway.

I'm right handed........Runny.......I part my hair on the left as well.....image........use  things with my right hand tho.

Crikey - looks like it's me then - and OH was right all along - but please don't tell him - I'll never hear the end of it image

Seriously though - thanks for the thread Lyn - always bugs me when things dont work as I thought they would & it is good to learn how to fix these things.

Of course you can transfer your pics to 'photobucket' 'phtobox' or the like.....there you will able to edit them i.e. rotating them and many other things.

Doing this also simplifies transferring then here via 'the green tree'.

I used photbucket once on the laptop but found when i brought the photos back they had lost size.

Or Lyn you can turn your ipad around with fhe on/off button on the right image

I always use it the same way, with the select button on the right.maybe left handed people use their pad upside down?

I didn't like photbucket, I like my photos just as they are, dated and on the 'pictures''

mine is an iPad Air, but not the latest one. Air 1 not 2.

When you click the green tree, choose photo library , then select the photo from my photo stream not the moments.
