Hungry little things...

Morning, these little tinkers are having a feast on some nasturtions! There are loads of them . Anyone know what kind of butterfly they will turn in to?

    Probably Cabbage whites - they're usually the ones that love nasturtiums! 

    I used to use a few nasturtiums on the veg patch as a sacrificial plant in order to try to save the brassicas.


    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Ah, thanks. Fascinating to watch them chomp away up close. I've counted 76 of them! There are also plain green small items; not sure if they are babies or plops!

    It's so annoying tho when you've grown plants from seed and something just comes along and spoils it, I know it's nature but you know what I mean : )
