Pond Demolition!

Hello, If you can see the photos youl notice we're taking down our pond.
While still in the early stages of the demo, I'm starting to think about whats going to fill the empty space once we reach ground level.
Any suggestions for a new low maintenance feature?

why take it out?
why not turn it into a raised bed.
remove some of the bricks in the middle of the wall and put plants in the holes so they grow out and cover all the bricks.
A couple of climbers to cover the white wall
