does anyone think the plants look a little crammed or do I have room for more!?!
i have tried to space them based on maximum sizes but it is a bit tight especially for stipa gigantia...
that said I can't help but feel I need to add something else...perhaps salvia or lavender just to add some more colour and a different shape...
any ideas or opinions greatly recieved as this is the first border I have planned from scratch
oh and forgot to mention I have purple clematis and Claire Austin rose for arch...
Looks fantastic Cidermill! You have been busy!
If you want purple as a colour, you can't go wrong with erysimum. It flowers it's heart out from spring until late autumn. I love it. Very easy to grow and take cuttings from.
Thanks tootles I will have a look at erysimum!
