Gladioli woes
in Plants
Last year my newly planted glads were good enough to win a prize in the local flower show. This year the flowers are both distorted and have white flecks or veining in the flowers. A friend has a similar problem and for her it is a repeat problem. Does anyone know what I should do. I think I should remove the flower corm and all, and am unlikely to be able to grow them there again. What is the problem and is there an alternative solution? Sorry, no pictures possible.

I'm definitely not an expert when it comes to gladioli, but could it possibly be this?

Thank you very much. That looks very much like the problem. Cure doesn't look very easy to achieve and won't spray in this area as alongside vegetables. So it's curtains for glads. here.
