Yes that was very helpful and it is Polytrichum it says get sulphate of iron to deal with this can you get this from any garden centre ?

Yes, it's in most moss killers, or you can buy it as it is from some garden centres or online as a soluble powder.

Could be an Artemisia, looks like it's over for the year so I would cut it back and water well.
