Tidying Lupins

JoneskJonesk Posts: 205

Morning all,

Finally I have managed to create myself a 'garden day'. Plenty of general tidying to do!!

My lupins are looking terribly messy now - I was wondering what the best way to tidy them up a bit was? Can I cut them back?

Yes, cut them back and you'll get some fresh growth.

  • Should I do that with mine as they have only been in the border about 6 weeks?

  • Do sparrows eat the emerging sweet pea flowers as I have a number of long stems with nothing at the  ends what can I do to stop this?
