Worm farm

Hi all me  again I'm interested in making a worm farm as a project for the allotment and food for our indoor plants,iv watch one or two ideas on the net but has anybody had good results for themselves and if so what did they actually use to make it,i noticed some had taps some just replaced the bottom tub when needed,i was thinking of useing the plastic type storage box,s we all use ,Or Not ?? so any help on which is best and size of box,s used or any other good results  you moght have had
