Very happy for you Verdun! Can't watch it here, not really complaining image Caribbean father in law insisted on all things cricket....hubby gets cold shudder when he hears the music to the coverage! But jolly good show the Brits and all that image

I saw the score and had to really feel for the Aussies bless them. Well maybe not image

Ahm ... Should I now apologise for being an Australian, and proud of it?

Does it count that my mother's brother, Ken Grieves, played county cricket in England for many years from when he was a teenager?

My hubby said to remind your of last year's result, but since I've never understood the game, i don't watch it, so don't know what ??  he is referring to.  Well anyway, enjoy it while you can.

That's a valiant try by your hubby Pat image  but last year's result and yesterday's score are not comparableimage  The Australian High Commissioner in London was interviewed on R4 last night - he coped with admirable fortitude image apparently he has tickets for Sunday - the Fourth Day - he said he'd probably take his hiking boots and go for a walk image

I like to think that Pa and Richie Benaud who both went to that great Cricket Stand in the Sky within a few days of each other earlier this year, will have had a lot to talk about - and that Pa will have enjoyed having the upper hand image
