Not Pampas Grass

Beginning of the year i brought some Pink pampas Grass seeds from Ebay, well so i thought. I hadn't planted any until a month ago but now they have grown a bit i know they deffo don't look like Pampas grass. I know they are young but any ideas from the pics.

    tee hee. I know I shouldn't laugh, but , erm , you're right , they're NOT pampas grass are they?

    The second pic looks like the foliage of Knautia. but could be any number of things.

    even the seed doesn't look like grass seed.

    Demand a refund.

    google image "pampas grass seed " and you'll see you've been mis-sold.

    When they came i just shoved em in my seed tin without looking and only noticed when i went to plant them.

    You're clearly within your rights to demand a refund from the seller. Ebay have a very good mediation service if the seller gets stroppy.

    But i brought them i think January and cost only £1.50. I've got a seed tray full of these,should i dump them or pot em on?.

    nowt to lose by potting them on I'd say.

    Doesn't matter when you bought them. The trades description act, and the sale of goods act still apply.

    " goods supplied must be as described and fit for the purpose sold"

    I've emailed them to see if they can send a new packet of seed or refund. We'll see

    send them the pics of the seed and the seedlings too., if you haven't already done so.

    Those seeds have an angular look to them. What has seeds like that?

    Nothing compositae (or whatever we call them now).

    Something that comes out of a pod. Irises and some bulbs have seeds like that but this is a dicot
