F1 hybrid Konsa cucumber

has anyone out there tried to grow these cucumbers- very disappointed, have now pulled 'em up, very few fruits, went yellow, watered plants carefully, ? mosaic leaves which I pulled up.. started off really strongly.. gave one to a friend, same poor results, and we are both keen gardeners with years (& I mean YEARS)of experience between us...

Hi Jean yes I am growing Konsa for the first time this year and have found that it has performed better than my usual marketmore, I planted the Konsa out a few days before the marketmore but the Konsa has cropped two weeks before Marketmore and I have had three or four cucumbers from it so far whereas I have only had one from the marketmore. The packet states that it is mildew resistant the seeds were bought from Lidl.
I also bought the seeds from Lidl.. went for 'em as mildew resistant... am pleased you had good results, possibly our compost not right.. definitely not lack of water or humidity, hey ho we constantly learn don't we! I will try again next year as like the sound of the cu.
