Afternoon All!
I've got some briar rose seeds which i was hoping to grow on and have rambling through my hawthorn.... however I've never grown any roses from seed, any advise would be welcome.

I have also tried this with out success and wondering to put them in very poor soil and out side to elements to create the conditions they would growing in in the wild.
I had to put mine in the fridge for 4months! Yes, 4 months, felt like forever, but I nw have some little 2cm seedlings in their own pot, so hopefully they will be flowering in the next few years
I actually sowed some rose seeds in the middle of feb. Just in Multi-purpose compost, and they are now outside in the plastic greenhouse. Nothing showing yet, as expected, but hoping when the sun warms up, it will set them off.
My seeds had no instructions with them as they were off ebay, so here's hoping. Will try some more in a few weeks, in trays and direct into the ground.
