Problem slope, problem shape, lots of heavy work, not fit!

I really don't know where to start with this garden. I will need to get some help in to remove a crazy paved sloping patio near the back door either that or get decking built over it.

So, it is a small triangular garden, sloping uphill. I need a small shed which I was thinking would go at top ofgarden as I don't want it too close to the house.  I need screening for 2 standard wheelie bins(the two small ones can go behind or at sides of shed. A smallish deck or patio. Not wanting grass.

Any design ideas.  I am a bit short on construction skills!

Are you able to load some pics Connie? If you are a mobile it won't work, otherwise just click on the tree in the toolbar image

  • Pacing it out very approximately 18 yds long

6 yards wide at back door

Just moved here. Great house. Dreadfully neglected garden!  Poor drainage.

Slabs at back door 2 rows Are level then it slopes uphill

  • It's East Kilbride, near Glasgow. High rainfall area

Yes I know about slippy decking as havejust washed and painted my Mothers with anti slip paint!

Was just thinking of the cheapest option but would prefer a retaining wall drainage etc

There is a sort of drain grating just after the two rows of slabs which is just coping in the heavy rain we have had

  • The hedge is my boundary on the left side as you look up the garden from back door

The fence on my right side is my other neighbour....she is replacing that with a 4'fence as we get on!  I was going to do a matching fence on the left side.  It is old privet as far as gravel so I have started taking it out.  So my boundary fences will be boring larch lap....painted a nice colour!  All 3 gardens are tiny triangles. We live on a sharp bend. The front garden is a steep slope but not even thinking of that yet.
